17.5++ "Very dark with black core. Fragrant with damson and blueberry. Wonderfully pure fruit, even a touch of red fruit to lift the aroma, the tannins are dry but somehow rich in their texture. Although this is still so young and embryonic, it's open and aromatic, with deliciously dry texture. I could almost drink this now but of course that would be infanticide. There's a sweetness of fruit that balances so well with the dry Douro tannins. Long and feels fresh even with all the residual sugar (104 g/l) and concentration of a port."
