"Herbal, stone fruits and savoury with a subdued richness and vitality. Good acidity and dry finish." - International Wine Challenge 2020 90pts | Silver Medal
"This is complex and layered with grapefruit and lemon notes, as well as some crystalline character. This reminds me a bit of a very fine white Bordeaux, with well-integrated oak. Such a multidimensional white with really good balance. Finishes with fine spices." 92/100 - Jamie Goode, Wine Anorak
17/20 "Subtle and inviting gently oaked aroma: mealy, creamy citrus with a lovely minerality that is part stones and part spice. There's a tiny hint of smoky reduction but the rich, crisp citrus is to the fore, with a background of creamy oak depths. Beautifully balanced and showcasing the fruit not the winemaking. Persistent and moreish. A very slight minty/herbal note right at the very end. I haven't tasted older vintages but I suspect this will age well. If I had tasted this blind, I might well have been in Burgundy in terms of the wine style even though it is clearly not Chardonnay." Drink 2021 – 2025 (JH) jancisrobinson.com
