Mentions (previous vintage)
17+ "Very dark like black-cherry skins. Rich, dark and rocky/charry, packed with black fruit but does not smell overly sweet, nor overly oaky. Big, powerful and surprisingly rounded in texture for such a young wine, thick and firm at the same time. The tannins are deeply layered and smooth. Enough freshness for balance but that's not its defining character, which is more to do with that firm, chewy richness of fruit. Needs time to gain complexity but already showing harmony and promise." Drink 2023 – 2028 (JH) jancisrobinson.com
